What Does Insurance Cover with an Annual Wellness Visit/Exam?

Please note if you are a new patient review of old medical records and management is not included in your annual exam. Most insurance companies cover one wellness exam per year at no cost to the patient including certain tests to detect disease in early stages or to prevent disease. Unfortunately, most insurance companies will not cover services unrelated to the physical and can choose to not cover the full cost of the office visit for separate health concerns discussed during an exam such as: addressing new or ongoing health problems (e.g. blood pressure, rash, back pain, UTI, etc.), in-office procedures (wart destruction, ear wax removal, etc.), laboratory tests for illness/injury or chronic conditions. Any charges not considered as part of a routine physical or wellness exam will be billed separately and any items or services not covered will be billed to patient. Paramount Medical Solutions apologizes for this inconvenience and appreciates your understanding that we must follow the insurance company billing guidelines in order to submit claims on behalf of our patients.

What is Paramount Medical Solutions Cancellation Policy ?

At Paramount Medical Solutions, we understand that life happens. We are flexible for life events that prevent our patients from coming to the clinic. in an effort to ensure that patients can be seen in a timely manner, our cancellation policy. 

New patients:
There is no fee assigned for appointment cancellation within 24 hours and/or if a new patient reschedules. If a patient visit is booked as a new patient for someone who has never been to our office and does not respond to any of our efforts to contact them in regards to the missed appointment, we reserve the right to charge a $35 no show fee. If a new patient does not call or show up to the first two visits, we will not schedule a third appointment request for a new patient encounter without a manager approval.

Any new patient who books online and does not show up to their visit will not be booked for a new visit online until calling into our office to confirm the new appointment. 

Established patients:
No fee established for calling and changing appointment times with greater than 24-hour notice. For patients that do not call and do not show to their appointments, we reserve the right to bill $35. If you believe that you have a circumstance that prevented you from coming in to your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, please ask to talk to our biller or front office to discuss your unique situation. We understand that life happens and will work with you to avoid the no show fee.

For patients who create an appointment and fail to call and cancel the appointment more than 2 times in a 12 month period, we reserve the right to not book a follow up appointment without provider approval for non-urgent issues. These patients will also be subject to release from the medical practice for those who abuse our no-show policy.

Are Telemedicine visits offered?

Yes, If you are unable to come to office due to illness (being contagious) and or other health issues that prevent you from being able to physically come to the office, your healthcare needs can still be met.

Billing and Forms of Payment

Co-payments and cash payments are due at time of services.
